So here is my dilemma: I mentioned the other day that my perfectionism led me to frogging the whole friggin baby blanket. Now I am at an impass: being her 4th child she has PLENTY of blankies, and I know it is nice to have a special blanket for each child, but....while I was trying to figure this out on my own, I came across this great bunting. It is adorable and with the SIDS issue seems like a great idea, I got many of these in Polarfleece as gifts for Gracie. Melanie reminded me how great the other blanket was and now I just cant decide. So I will not touch this project before I leave for TX, and will just take what I need to start it there; and I would love for anyone with an opinion to weigh in on this one! The color would be the same as the blanket before which is a Mint green and a baby denim (blue). TIA!

I think the baby blanket... but then again it all depends on the recipient! I don't know what I would do.. But I always wanted to make that baby blanket.. just for me! I love the look of it....

I really like the blanket (you know that already) but that bunting is too cute. I think that at this point, seeing as she's do in one month (not to scare you) that you should do whatever will be quicker. Either one will be made with lots of love and kindness and she'll enjoy either one!

Personally, I think I'd like to get the bunting. I had a few blankets and some fleece things, but a nice handmade bunting would have been great too. I was very picky about what went on my son when he slept, especially since he would NOT sleep on his back, so it would have been great to have something cozy that he could wear without me being afraid. But, that's just my view, and I love blankets too. Just trying to figure what would be most usable. ~Happy (from knitting chicks)

Speaking as a mommy of an infant I'd love the bunting... of course, when's the baby due? You don't want him getting too warm in a knitted bunting if he's going to be a spring baby.

~sorry to barge in here... just happened across your site and I'm obsessed with knitting baby items.
